Testimonies

My name is Toya Smith.  I attend bible studies at Ms. Karen’s house on Sundays.  I enjoy the bible studies and prayers. Pastor Paul prayed for me to get a job next week. I am so glad that God hears when the man of God prays. Thank you Pastor Paul, Fathi and Karen for continuing to do the work of the Lord.

Hello my name is Becky and I am Karen’s daughter.

I started coming to bible study at my mum’s house a few months ago. I had met Pastor Fathi months earlier. Mom said they were good friends and that he loved the Lord. He seemed to be helping my mum spiritually so I decided to join them for the bible study at her house. There I met Pastor Paul and his wife. On this night I had hurt my foot. It hurt so bad that I was walking funny.

Pastor Fathi asked me what was wrong and I told him. He asked Pastor Paul to pray for me. He did and my foot stopped hurting right away so much that I didn’t even think about it any longer. Since that day I have moved into my own apartment and started my daycare business. I also host the bible study in my home on Tuesday nights where my friends and neighbors can join us in learning God’s word. I am slowly but surely acquiring a stable lifestyle. I thank my mother Karen, Pastor Fathi and Pastor Paul for continuing to pray for me. God bless.

Dear Pastor Paul,

Greetings in the name of the Lord. I hope this greeting finds you well and most wonderfully blessed in the Lord.

I just wanted to tell you how blessed Dave and I are by the Love of God you have portrayed to both of us. It is a pleasure and a blessing to have  you in our lives. I’m sure that we will meet very soon and I can thank you in person.

Thank you also, so  much for taking the time to pray for me during the time my shoulder was injured. I can’t tell you how much it meant to have someone who didn’t even know me or anything about me, except that I was hurt, to pray for me as you did, every morning and every night until I was healed.

You said to watch God do a swift work and that I wouldn’t be in the sling for a very long time. That is absolutely true. I went to my regular doctor on Thursday, April 26th, at which time she took more x-rays and determined that the bone was misaligned so that I would probably would need surgery. I utterly rebuked that notion and would not let it take hold because the Man of God said I would be healed! She had me set up an appointment with the Orthopedic Surgeon to determine if surgery would be needed to reset the bone which looked to her to not be healing in the right position. I know that Dave told you because you continued to pray and agree with us in the Spirit that all would be well. My appointment was on this past Monday.

Dave and I prayed as we sat in the room waiting for the surgeon to tell us what he thought. When he came in, he had us look at the x-rays again and he said that the bone was not out of alignment the way my other doctor had thought.  He said it looked to be healing just fine. He asked me how my range of motion was and had me hold both my arms straight up in the air. I was able to do so WITHOUT ANY PAIN AT ALL!!!  He said he was very impressed. (my impression with that is most people with a shoulder injury can’t make that kind of movement after so short a time in a sling; it is still difficult to do) He said I no longer had to wear the sling if I didn’t want to and that I could go about normally just being sure to take care and not fall again. (smile)

Dave and I both gave God the praise for working in my behalf. I have been telling people that ask that you prayed for my shoulder and that’s the reason it’s better today. Thank you so much for being the man of God that you are and exhibiting God’s love through using the gifts of healing that he has given you. May the Lord continue to bless you and use you in such a great and mighty way as you journey on for Him.

We are one in the Spirit,
